So I was in the local music store the other day and i saw this kid (about 10 or so) looking at the basses with his parents. I walk up and start toying with this Peavey Millenium and I hear over my shoulder the kid ask his dad "So where's the star power button?"
It's sad when things like this happen.

@standupright: it's a Guitar Hero reference

how is 10 the earliest teen? | "teen" beeing rooted in the word, "ten." Thinks in terms of decades. the 80's were 1980-89; we are now in the 'teens (2010-2019). It's that simple.

All the guitarists and bassists I know suck at guitar hero. I've even heard of some awesome guitarists who got addicted to the game, and now they suck at real guitar.
Personally I hate how the scroll-y graphics thing doesn't line up with the music, and neither does 'strumming'. I guess I have too much rhythm to play guitar games.
Also, the episode of South Park 'Guitar Queer-O' is quite possibly one of the funniest things ever put on tv. Second only to the one where Cartmen starts a christian rock band. Priceless. Seriously, they're free online go watch them now! |
