Where I live it depends on your style of music. If you play heavy metal like me then the best place to play is a house party. I don't think I should post pics because i'm sure everyone here has an idea of what a house party is and looks like.

First of all... were do you live?? that was a part of the purpose of the invitation

Maybe a house party won't be the same in the northen and southern hemisphere (been in both)
And a one with live music... doesn't happen a lot in my town

I live in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada) and the best places to gig here are at small venues like the Casbah, The Underground, etc, etc. Lots of people show up to these shows, no matter how big you are or not
