Not outwardly bass related, but very much a symbol and reminder of why I started playing bass in the first place.

Oh and Gonzo Dagger + Drunken Mohawk = the worst thanksgiving ever.

Been posting this in all of the tattoo threads! It's my first one. I decided to get the bass line to Led Zeppelin's How Many More Times since it is THE song that inspired me to want to learn how to play the bass. I'm very happy with the design the artist came up with and how it came out.

Great posts so far

here is my tattoo!

A brief description: Obviously bass clefs in a yin/yang format which symbolizes balance to me (or my constant struggle for it). I saw the design somewhere on the net and had my friend draw a picture based on it.

I love all of the tattoo's i've seen thus far. I've been contemplating getting a bass tattoo. I've noticed a lot of people have a plain old bass cleff, im gonna give my girlfriend the Bass cleff and tell her to make a kickass design for/from it. and if i like it then New tattoo!

There is no "better'. It's more or less permenet. I recieved a transplant Sept. 12, 2000. MY arm still looks like that. It also leads to cramping of the left hand, but I can usually manage it.

That one is actually a birthday gift from a great female artist (http://rebekahlynn.deviantart.com/) to her friend whom play the bass. I've talked to the artist 'bout using that design but ended up NOT using it as it was a gift to someone, and I want my tatts to be one-of-a-kind. From what I remember, he also has it on his forearm.

I think that I posted this somewhere before, it was the beginning of a ton of music related tattoos that I have.

Thanks man! Yeah, I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Got it two weeks ago and it's almost completely healed, so it's looking pretty good right now!
