So Who Else Posted an Audition For Queen Extravaganza?

Just curious. Mine was finally uploaded today. I figured I have nothing to lose and everything to gain, right? The funny part is for a 2 minute video it wound up taking hours. I tried multiple basses. That 60s P just sits in the mix properly all around.

I tried recording video and audio separately (but at the same time) and sync'ing up the audio after in Premiere, but it was much easier to just do it all in one take and not have to deal with sync'ing. Of course that means getting the audio balance right, which takes a bit. No edits other than trimming stuff off the beginning and end on the video.

I plugged directly into the computer via an interface, no amp.

Here's the link to my video:

Uh here's mine... Seven Seas Of Rhye Audition - YouTube

Granted it's mostly overplaying but I just got my wisdom teeth out and was on massive amounts of vicodin so I figured why not. I did audio and video separately just because, well I didn't know any other way... and was on vicodin.

I did put up an audition, and was likewise denied a round two berth.

It wasn't my best, but I felt that it captured my style more than anything else. I didn't use any type of mixing or video/sound syncing, everything was preformed live on my Cannon A2200. Put your headphones on, because it sounds so much better. Straight live with no mixing.

Had I made it to round two, I'd have played "Another One Bites the Dust" on double bass arco.
