I don't believe I've ever head of them before. The clip was dated 1969, so maybe that explains it; I don't think I was still watching cartoon by '69 (maybe I'm a little too old ).

Perhaps they're a geographical phenomenon: is this from Australian TV?

I used to get up extra-early on Sunday morning, so I could watch The Beatles cartoons before they dragged me kicking and screaming to Sunday school. "But Mooooommmm!!! The Beatles are still oooonnnnn!!! I don't wanna gooooooo!!!"

No kidding me too! Man I feel old, and Im only 25. The Banana Splits were awesome.... I was always partial to the secret squirell clips myself.
