When I was a kid:

Sitting on the floor in front of the TV on Saturday morning eating Cap'n Crunch with Crunchberrys right out of the box.

I would watch what that coyote would come up with and think "that just might work".

I don't remember cattanooga Cats, but I remember a cartoon MUCH older: Ruff & Reddy. It aired 1957 to 1964. i've never forgotten the episode with them traveling to the planet Muni Mula, which is aluminum spelled backwards.

And let's not forget Crusader Rabbit (1948-51 and 1957-?)...the first cartoon for TV.

I loved the coyote, man. My dad and I would watch Roadrunner together...he dug it as much as I did.

I can't believe all the controversy over that cartoon. Violence? Remember when everyone was having a cow because that cartoon was "violent"? In light of so much of what's on for kids, the roadrunner and the coyote are tame. Sweet, even.

'What are we going to do tonight, Brain?'

Cherie, if you have satellite TV, ToonDisney is currently carrying P&TB in the evenings. Relive those years!

Shameless plug for Cherie: Austin TBers, the Chrome Wheels are playing at the Locker Room (Ben White @ S. 1st) Friday night (4/18) at 9 PM.
