When we've played "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol, a lot of people lay down on the dance floor during the "if I lay here.." parts of the chorus.
What other rituals do you know of?

On most ACDC songs, throngs of people doing "the Angus" while crashing into each other and/or falling over.
"It's just a jump to the left"

I suppose we can't leave out Y-M-C-A

| | | | Middle fingers up on a certain Overkill song I can't name here without being banned.
The "die!" shoutalong during the breakdown of Metallica's "Creeping Death".
And of course shouting "play Freebird!" over any song that's not "Freebird".

Mostly a thing they do at weddings so the guys in rented tuxedo's can roll around on the dance floor......

In my old band it would usually involve us laying on the floors, and on one occasion actually involved me, the guitarist and the singer (all wireless) to go downstairs from the mezzanine we were playing on and out to the street outside.

I can't believe that nobody has mentioned "where's the salt," yet, given how many coverband players we have, at TB. It happens.
