There would be 5 or 6 of us and we bring a ton of gear and tell the sound guy we need 6 mics. We would then spend our entire allotted time setting up and sound checking. Imagine the interesting reactions and interactions between people who KNOW the schtick and the people getting frustrated that the opening band has been soundchecking for 45 minutes.
I'm totally serious.
