Sound Fishy?

My band's scheduled to play a small set at a church tomorrow night. Should be a nice show, we haven't played out in a while so it should be fun for us to be out again. The problem? I'm the only one not playing. It started out the drummer was going to play guitar and sing a few songs by himself, then he asked our lead singer to play too, then our rhythm guitarist, then our lead guitarist. The singer asked me last night, "So, i guess we're all playing tomorrow" and I had no idea. So, this morning I sent a text to the drummer saying "Thanks for the invite to play. Really feeling the love, man".
To which he said, "I asked them to help me. It's not a band thing, it's a helping me thing". Sounds like maybe time for me to punch a drummer and/or quit?

Maybe, maybe not. Is the drummer going to be playing drums now, or still playing guitar & singing? It sounds like maybe more of a coffee house type gig and if I counted correctly there are 4 people on what may be a small stage. Is there any pay involved or is he (they) just doing it for fun. Is what they're playing the same stuff you guys play as a band or are they doing cuntry/folk rock on acoustic guitars while the band plays death-metal?
OTOH if there's enough room that the drummer's bringing his kit and everyone else is bringing their full rigs, maybe he's just an insensitive dick.

It's the same music our band plays and it's songs we've played tons of times before in the same setting.

This.

Hell, Keith Richards has punched a couple of guys in the Stones; he even punched Ron Wood on stage.

How about a simple straightforward conversation...

Hey, I was a little hurt you didn't invite me. You ask everyone in the band to do this but me, are you trying to tell me something?
