I once had a 'fan' send me a dozen roses a day, anyonymously, at work for 2 weeks. She would put Shakespeare on the cards. It was so embarassing.

Then she started calling my home. Saying things like "do you know who this is?" I didn't have a clue who she was. I hung up on her. She'd call back. Fortunately, she called one too many times and my then girlfriend (now wife) threatened to kick her a** if she ever bothered me again.

Finally through a friend of a friend of a friend I found out who it was. It turns out I barely even knew her. Infatuation is a wierd thing.

It was a creepy, Play Misty for Me, experience.
