Yeah, Shel, in addition to writing some great books, recorded some outrageous songs, including "Freakin' at the Freaker's Ball", several quasi hits for "Dr. Hook and the Medicine show (Sylvia's Mother, Cover of the Rolling Stone), and he wrote "Boy Named Sue" for Johnny Cash.
