Happened on my Schecter once. It was odd and made me second guess it everytime I looked at the headstock. Sometimes idiots spin all of the machines even like that to piss off whoever has to re-tune it.

Once had a brain dead pianist that insisted that they (machine heads) should all be even and if they aren't then the instrument can't possibly be in tune.
