| | | | Any thing with alot of Low- B in it.
I have theory that the lower frequencies affect women in a certain..... ummm.... intimate way that they are unaware of on a conscious level
Comfortable Numb springs to mind

It really doesn't matter what I play......it still impresses her more than the washing machine on spin cycle.
A few minutes is all it really takes....... |

I find that acoustic guitar gets more women crowding around you than a bass ever will, unless you get those certain rock women who just know things. Acoustic guitar has gotten more than 10 girls around me dozens of times. Bass 0. Good game.
Seriously though, Jack Johnson, Clapton (especially Tears in Heaven), and that kind of slower stuff on an acoustic for some reason makes girls understand you exist. |

I.e. as she walks into the room, start playing the bassline to Pretty Woman, or something like that.

"Yes, I'll do the dishes"
"Sweep the floor, no problem!"
"Diapers are my duty"
OK, that's more for wife than girlfriend. |

If I'm practicing bass while she walks in, I will go into pretty woman, love medleys, etc.
Bottom line, don't try to woo your girlfriend with basslicks.

| | | | For quite obvious reasons I can’t quite remember exactly what I was playing, but I once had two women sitting on top of my 4x10 while they were happily judging & thoroughly evaluating its low frequency response with some very sensitive equipment they were in possession of…. |

| | | | you see.... Roger doesnt lie....
even if they dont sit on it.. they know.. a mans....ummm capabilites are directly proportional to the thickness of his strings and the depth of his frequencies...
women know. Bass players do it deeper...

On a more serious note, I find women to be far more impressed when you listen to them, not the other way around. |

It's not that I suck or anything, but I am not much of a showoff really. "Hey girl, check out this new way of playing triplets and 16th notes that I've been working on (T-2-1, T-3-2-1)." Nah.
My best move is to do the "look from on stage." I dont know how or why it works, but it does.
Haha... +1 to sitting on the cab. I used to have a 2x15 that I'd lay on it's side for the ladies.
