Super Pro Bass Player (craigslist content)

http://toronto.en.craigslist.ca/tor/muc/1187802600.html

"No Wannabes, Has Beens, or 3 Chord trauma types

Not interested in any bands forming or like situations. If the drummers name is IPOD forget it.

Available for paying gigs only. I will show up but I anticipate someone setting up and carrying my amp for me. Not interested in any situations where the bands wants to practice beforehand.

I am an expert Bass player, think Stanley Clark, the Creem guy and Sting as being available on Bass in the GTA. I play anything from Death Metal to Jazz. "

I'm tempted to hire him and watch him make a fool of himself when we play super technical, psycadelic death metal in drop C# (having told him we've Tuned to drop D, of course)

Cos with an attitude like that, who's gonna accept him into their band?

no practice, no help with load in or load out, but still expects to be payed.

I don't know of a working band (that doesn't hire session musicians through agencies) with a member with an ego that big.

PEOPLE! The ad is obviously a joke... I'm not sure how it could be viewed otherwise.
