Well on Friday night my band landed a dream gig, we supported Gary Boyle from Isotope fame. It was a brilliant gig for my band, as we all raised our level to meet the challenge, especially as it was our first gig with our new singer. Only 4 weeks in the group too! Hardly any mistakes. All tempos were absolutely spot on, and the singer just sounded fantastic. She really performed the songs.
My Mark Bass LM250 head and Schroeder 12 cab just sounded amazing, and held up to the gig beautifully. I now know though, that perhaps the LMII head might be a worth while investment for the future, as the little extra headroom would be useful had the hall of been any bigger.
Gary Boyle was his normal willey self. Sometimes going off at odd tangents to the other band members. You could see Frank Grimmes, the bassist for the night, was really not happy with some of the oddities. The keyboardist was also a bit manic too. Really throwing in some obscure chord inversions and substitutions. Plus it's nice to know that even the professionals get it slightly wrong sometimes.

Thank god though we didn't do our version of Cantaloupe Island, becuase they did it, and it rocked... even with some mistakes
Anyway, just wanted to share that with you really. You can see some pictures here:

There is a recording too, so if anyone wants to hear how the LM250 head and Schroeder setup sounds... you can. It's a bit roomy, but the clarity is certainly there.
