| While I have never done it, my luthier has. He played Disney Land, in LA. My interpretation of his comments is: It's a job, not a gig. You have to be ready to go on time, with the company approved song list, in the company approved style. Or go home. If you are a strong believer in "musical & emotional truth", this might not be the gig for you. If you are a prima donna type, this most definitely is not for you.
But if you are willing to play for the pay check, and understand that attitude, it can be a lot of fun. And you will learn a lot musically, as well as stage craft, such as hecklers, bad weather, equipment failures, etc.
Just make sure you know what you are getting into.
