Most moronic thing I have ever heard. | Why he use energizer? Those have a DRUMMER as their mascot? |

Randy | Truth. I listen to and play and love everything from jazz standards to punk to classic rock to bands like MESHUGGAH and Periphery. |

What a sad, unrequited discovery. But true.

Um...because I like the attack of a pick better? Haha.
I don't know who started the urban legend that "fingerpickers are more skilled than pick users", but I certainly won't miss them once they pass beyond the mortal coil. |

"You play a Ric with [something other than a pick and roundwound strings]?!?!"

Gotta love the snob working at the local music shop. Does anyone working at the local store have anything to feel good about? You're 35 without a real job and you're not a rockstar. Let it go man, head back to community college and find a real job.

However, this wasn't an issue of range, since I auditioned with a 4-string tuned BEAD or AEAD to cover the necessary low notes for the band's material. Instead, his reasoning was "5-strings sound heavier because they are bigger."

Needless to say, I'd kill that kid given half a chance. | I hate kids like that. Got a few at my school and they just bug the crap out of me. |
