Got my daughter one.
Very nice to look at or display.
Pickups are OK although they are not installed totally aligned with the strings(strings are not centered in the magnet pole pieces).
Sound: like PB pickups.
Plays: very fast(short scale)
Hard to sit with for practice and balance when standing with a standard strap sux, a wide strap is a must. If you're a youngster or teenager with the flexibilty of Gumby I guess sitting wouldn't be a problem.

Fun bass and good for a young girl.
If we EVER play a gig that's right for it(i.e. children's hospital, junior or high school, women's group, etc.) I will bring it to play on at least a few tunes.

You know you want one.
Do your part for the global economy and increase the velocity of money.

One of my (now no longer) secret fantasies has always been to get the girliest Daisy Rock bass I could get my hands on, and play "Master Of Puppets" at an audition for a metalband

That is quite possibly the worst photoshop, and FAIL on your part, I have seen here in a long time.

Unfortunately the 'Daisy' and 'Butterfly' basses are discontinued. But there's a dealer right down the street from me, and he's got a Daisy bass.
I cannot tell you how tempting it is to go buy it, set it up, and bring it to my 'serious' club date on Sunday.

You're probably right. And I'm just fat enough to pull it off.

+1 to playing it in a metal band, or failing that, a punk band

I like them. I don't know who the bald guy in the photo is, though.
