ignorant? yeah thats good...and stupid...
no effect today...no instrument today...or EVER will be able to sound like the bass...no matter the technology...they obviously cannot understand that....

| yes it can, it may lack a bit of the "wood" tone but with digital modeling and everything they can easily make something sound like a bass guitar. the seinfield theme is a keyboard, now I may have some good enough experience to know what a bass sounds like but to me it still sounds like a funk line from a BASS.
Now nobody will be able to groove and do certain techniques which make bass BASS.
Still there were some pretty damn stupid comments there besides that techology crap |

These days there are actually pedals/modifiers that you can hook up to that will make your guitar sound like a base. They've gotten pretty good actually, so much so that if I started a band, I'd have a guitarist be the base player. The whole disadvantage of the base is the big strings are harder to play fast, and you don't have that with a guitar-base.

But if you wish bass is fairly similiar both the E and A strings represents bass and the D string represents the sneer drum. It's easier than ordinary bass but you will need leasons books and play to your favourite songs. But I would strongly disagree with metal we're not in the 90's no more man.

But yeah, I don't know if a *sneer* drum even has a note you could list it as. If you look on sheet music for percussion, there isn't a clef.
Edit: I mean, I'm sure it has a note. But as far as I know, there's only 4 clefs and they're Treble, Bass, Alto, and Tenor, and percussion isn't either of those.
