so I had my first gig last night on my new fretless. oh man, I love it. The audience loved it, and I think most of the band was diggin it.

so yeah, just wanted to brag a little. So nice when you have a good gig.

What kind of music did you use it for? Just curious...

Is that the Fender Deluxe in your profile?

I imagine it's a 4 banger? I've been hoping Fender would put out a fretless 5er 24 Deluxe - my wallet's RWA!

I LOVE fretless! Glad you had a good gig!

Good for you, every time I start thinking I can play my fretless, It just takes one jam with a guitarist to remind me I suck at it.

it is a jazz/funk combo. Got the fretless rather recently, so I am still a little uncertain, but I am getting the hang of it.

We play a lot of different stuff, but mainly standards. We like to fool around with different styles, so it is nice to have some versatile.
