Yesterday (Sunday) I was playing in church for worship. First service went fine, no notable hitches or anything. During the second service, though, there would be an occasional loud pop coming from my amp, and my signal would cut out for a couple of seconds. Now, I just added a used BOSS NS-2 noise suppressor to my pedalboard, so I thought that it was going bad on me. After a couple of songs, my signal went dead and stayed dead. I had to bend down, unplug the NS-2 from the loop and put it all back together in the middle of one of the most bass-driven songs of the set. After I got stuff plugged back in, I looked over at my power supply. My brother, who plays guitar in the worship band, was STANDING ON THE SUPPLY. Every time he moved his feet, he was unplugging me.

I just about slapped him on stage in church.

The slapping in church could have been pretty funny in my humble opinion.

Sure, go ahead and slap him. Just be sure you holler out "Be Healed!!!" while you're doing it!

I was at a gig last weekend, and I was on second. So I set my stuff up on stage, put my pedals in front of my amp, then sat down to watch the first band. Their saxophonist walked on to stage, and straight over my tuner and amp footswitch! Grrrr! I went straight up on to the stage and took them away. It's not as if you couldn't see them either - dark stage, tuner pedal with about 10 flashing lights on - blind saxophone player?

i had something similar happen to me at a talent show.
all the rigs/drums/pedalboards/etc were set up and my band had already finished playing. another, well-known, energetic band got on stage to play, and their guitarist has got such stage presence- enough stage presence to switch my power strip off, knock my pedalboard around, and unplug my amp (all with his feet). he at least had the decency to nudge my stuff back in the right direction when he realized what he did (about 4 times).

i think this kid is quite strange- he plays so hard that he bleeds from between his nails and fingers, gets blood all over his guitar, then TAKES PICTURES of it- at EVERY gig they have. purposely.
