Weird Kid Starts HUGE Dance Party

Sign in to disble this ad
Check out this video

This one kid starts dancing by himself on the lawn at a concert and he's just got this weird wobbly dance going on. Then a couple of people join in maybe to make fun of him or maybe to just dance...whatever...the next thing that happens is the crowd starts to grow exponentially until there is this MASSIVE mob of people screaming and dancing and loving life.

Could there be a better metaphor for creating successful music/art? This kid is just loving life, doing his own thing and when others start to tap into that it grows out of control and the sheeple instincts kick in.

This video is a real unforced positive human experience that somehow caught fire and spread incredibly fast.

Thumbs up

That was awesome. It could have turned out differently with people ridiculing the kid, but what happened was definitely a shock. Its good to see videos like this, it just reinforces the fact that anything is possible.

i was at a college fest and a guy started headbanging and air guitaring at a 60seconds to fame event to some megadeth track, holy wars i think. anyway i jumped up on the stage to join him and then another two dozen people did. some of them had no idea and were acting all crazy but it was fun

Yeah people all want to have a good time, but many need a group to join before they feel safe doing it. I've been on both sides of it...

-100 to the "music" that started it all.

Are you kidding me? Who could restrain themselves from dancing when Santogold is laying it down? Not I.

Also, anybody been to the Gorge? It's maybe my favorite venue in the western US. The sound is better at Red Rocks, but there's no room to dance like this guy!

And the one thing I find stupid about this is; if it was a live band, they had this HUGE crowd dancing...

and they stopped playing!

That is cool.

We always say if we can get one person dancing, the rest will follow. Sometimes, nobody wants to be the first one on the dancefloor but as soon as somebody does, more of them come out.

Here's a shot I took at the Gorge, plenty of hotties that year. Makes me want to dance just looking at it.
