Well, on the advice of another TB'er, I was checking out the DBX DB10 direct box, and I found this video on their site:

HAHAHAHAHA That was awesome. At first I thought you posted it because of the minor dorkiness of the voiceover girl "with plenty of ground lift!"... but it got better!

Yeah, because I sure do hate it when a DI doesn't have quite enough ground lift.

My favorite part is when the dog poops out the DI box.

Then I watched the rest...

~~you shouldn't feed dogs chocolate cake!~~

haha that line was well placed. I definitely want one now, even though I have no clue what it sounds like.

It's a DI box, so ideally, it should sound like nothing.

The action was a little high on that bass in the video. Couldn't they have been bothered to get it setup BEFORE they shot the video?

As hilarious as i was, it did not make me want a DI box, it did however make my stomach hurt from laughing.

If they'd cut it down to about 90 seconds, they'd have something. completely boring intro, amusing follow-up, but much too long and a real waste of time.

They DO get points for having a sensahumor, however.
