Is this a drummer joke thread???

Did you hear the one about the drummer who's timing was so bad he was tired of the constant ridicule and he decided to end it all? He threw himself behind a train.

A drum kit falls off a cliff.....ba-dum-dum-chh

How many drummers does it take to change a lightbulb?

-None. They have machines that can do that now.

And a similar one my friend once said:

What's the difference between a drum machine and a drummer?

-You only have to punch the information into the drum machine once...

Really though, we all know bassists and drummers have a very close and often mystic bond. I bet everyone here's best friend is a drummer. It's only natural, on-stage and off!

Wow, I never thought about it, but some of my best friends ARE drummers.... weird.

What's the last thing a drummer says to his band?
"Hey guys, why don't we try one of MY songs?"

Some of the finest guys I know are drummers, and also very, very competent musicians. I love hanging out with these guys and playing bass with them.

Some of the dumbest guys I know are drummers and are incompetent musicians.

Runs the gamut!

That's funny. I have yet to form a mystic bond with some unknown drummer. I only know two. One is MY drummer, who can't keep a beat to save his life with all the fills he's doing, and the other can't stop stealing things.

No, when I was in a band, the drummer made fun of my then-girlfriend. Our singer was (and still is) my best friend.

A guitarist once tried that joke on an old friend of mine who's a drummer (and a quick wit). He only got half way through; before he could answer his own question, my friend said "A drum machine's not sleeping with your wife".

And that was the end of that one.

Did you wait till the guitarist stormed off then give him a high 5?

Strange though, through a very strange twist of fate one of two of my best friends is a drummer adn the other used to play :S.
Maybe we do ahve mystical links to them? Just like the whoel ebing a goalie in soccer.

How do you know when the drummers kit is set up right?
The drool is coming out of both sides of his mouth equally.

What do you call a drummer without a girlfriend?
Homeless.

How can you tell if the stage is level?

The drummer is drooling out of both sides of his mouth!

I finally got to use this in context. We were setting up a stage for my mother-in-laws wedding reception and both the guys helping me were guitarists and carpenters and neither of them had brought a level. They were debating on how to make sure the stage was level and I says "you know how we tell if the stage is level..."

One of the guys was still laughing about it 15 minutes later.
