well, I used to call one local bass player "stick man" cause he just stood there and wiggled one leg.
This was before I started playing.
Now I find myself moving one leg sometimes too! Hey, it helps keep rhythm...but I move a little bit more than "stick man".

I've had, in the style of babylon zoo 'bassman, always wanted you to go into bassman' sang at me before.
Funky bass dude
I'm generally introduced to friends of other band members as 'Our bass player' and normally they say hello never talk to me after that. Must be a bass thing :-s
