Well, it helps a lot if in general it looks like the band has their act together and are comfortable on stage & performing. That's the starting point.

I dont think we do anything special, just everyone does their best and people start moshing.

Yeah - you can tell a band who has their crap together from one who doesn't - when the groove of all the instruments, vocalists, etc is all working together, a person can't help but be enthused, I'd say. Unless the music is bad from a creative perspective, but there's not much help for that aside from writing better songs...

Having your crap together is definetely the basis and starting point, but movement helps. Switching sides of the stage with another rythmn player or whatnot. OWN THE STAGE
