Thus, I like to wear t-shirts like "You + Me + Your Friend" or "Surgeon General's Warning: Harassing me about my smoking may be hazardous to your health." I've gotten a lot of positive feedback from wearing shirts like that, especially my "I support the performing arts" tee with a stripper on a pole.
A friend of mine is also an up-and-coming photographer/photo manipulation guru, so I made a deal with him to shoot pics of the band in return for me wearing shirts with his stuff ironed on the front. |

In the Summer cargo(or similar shorts) and some kind of funky t-shirt. I've also been know to wear a Motohead shirt to a top 40 gig, and a Spice girls shirt to a Metal gig. I like to poke fun @ myself.

Typically just stuff I would wear around town, nothing too fancy. I'll wear sports jerseys too, like you said, because they are comfortable, and you get to support your team while you play!
The one requirement for myself, though, is that I HAVE to be wearing comfortable shoes during gigs, so my back is supported and my feet don't hurt while standing for a while.
