The split pups just look wrong on a Rick.
Not to mention that you have to hog out a fair amount of extra wood just to fit 'em.
A J pup fits easily and looks cleaner, I just don't like the tone of that combo.
I don't go for the RIC parts on a Fender either.
Messes up the whole vibe.
