starts out solid (i like how the girl moves right as I do something interesting so y'all can see it) but then my guitarist's pedalboard dies halfway through the song.

what'll we do?

(Sorry for "youtube band" video quality, taken by a fan)

Just check everything as best you can before the show. And have a plan B in place. I always have a spare bass right behind me. I always have a spare cable right on top of my amp. He should be prepared to plug right into the amp at a second's notice. Better luck next time.

thanks. as it turns out, the cable running from his pedalboard to his amp was the culprit, it was being squeezed under his mic stand because of the close quarters. at the end of the song he gets it back running again and it gave him a little more trouble later in the show. now it's all figured out, he has a backup cable that he can hotswitch from an ABY in case it goes down.

Nicely done though. If you hadn't mentioned it I'd thought him stopping to play is part of the song.

Sorry but: one word about your singer: I don't like his voice. He is pretty loud though.

Yep, I had my AC adapter vibrate out of the back of my rack compressor in the middle of a song. My bass was cutting on and off so I reached in the back of my rack and fixed it, then came back mid song like nothing happened. Never missed a beat. I get a lot of practice fixing technical issues mid-song at church. I've seen it all there.

thanks.

he had the flu. like really badly, as in right out of the bathroom onto the stage. so his voice wasn't really there, but normally he's better, i swear.
