We strategically brand ourselves as "classic heavy rock". It's what WAS metal until metal became something else. However we NEVER use the "M" word to describe ourselves when we're talking to venues, as it instantly excludes you from the chance of a paying gig.

Rock, some indie, a tinge of metal, and a little bit of funk.

Everything from prog metal to jazz to blues to pop. Every day brings a new challenge and a new genre or idea.

I'm playing my own genres right now: Space Metal and Jazz Metal (except my form of Jazz Metal is WAY more Jazzy than bands like Atheists.

My condolences.

I'm in two bands- one punk and one funk. It makes it easier for me to remember the genres because they rhyme.
