What's your favourite venue to play?

Ive got 2, both are in Sydney.

Firstly, the Spectrum. Its the kind of place that is just as good if there's 50 or 150 people there. Its a tiny little room but it sounds great and is a lot of fun to play.

Secondly, a much larger room, the Gaelic Club (or Gaelic Theatre to some). I really enjoy playing there just because of the "production value". its one of the few venues in sydney that has its own monitors engineer. The one problem with this place, it holds around 500 people, so when there's only around 100 people in the room it can be a bit crappy...

So your turn... whats your fave and why? also post pics of you playing there if you've got them...

River City Saloon in Grand Rapids Michigan. Nice stage, they have permanent stage lights, and you can get away with just about anything in there. Probably holds 200 people, but there are frequently more. The bartender makes the best gimlet you're likely to have anywhere too!

My kind of place.

Of all the indoor venues I've played, I think my fave is Park West in Chicago.

Great facility - you feel like you're really connecting with people.

The Rutledge in Nashville. Tn. USA.

Excellent lights, excellent sound, and smoke free, baby!

Any small to medium club. (100-400 people)
That has good acoustics.

Outerland on Martha's Vineyard is one such place.
