Our second gig, we played the best we ever have, to a crowd of mainly our friends, and a fairly lively audience and we even get accompanied on stage!
well, it was christmas
and it was Slade :P
still with a review like this: First up was Calling Shotgun featuring Chris Blythe (vocals/guitar), Kieran Gorse (drums), Rich Leahy (guitar/vocals) and Mike Sealey (bass). They entertained with a seven track set, Calling Shotgun, What We Knew, Rip Out Your Lungs, Sell My Soul, Cous Cous and Chains. These they delivered with enthusiasm and aplomb, displaying their individual talents to the full, combining well together to a warm reception from the Pentre crowd. As a finale, several additional personnel took to the stage, led by Dave Parry (Slightly Generic) to close the set with a rendition of Slade’s Merry Christmas. An inspired ending, which set the mood for the remainder of the evening.
we must have done OK :P
any stage invasions to share?
lets see the pics!

We played a festival in a park and there was a drunk guy picking up cans who staggered his way on stage and started trying to dance with the guitarist / singer in the band. He is staggering around stepping on effects while we played until one of the sound guys ran him off. The rest of the show he stood in front of the stage ballroom dancing and moshing with himself - to southern rock.

She came up on stage later to dance and sing along in the mic to one of our cover songs too! The crowd got a kick out of that - as did we! (don't have pics b/c I was playing bass at the time!)

Pretty random.

The two guys in the pic are the drummer and singer. The singer was rushing off to get his camera. I took the pic while holding down the root note with one hand, hence its a bit crap.
They were all East European girls and the really did know how to party :-)
