Who Loves Their Drummer?

Sign in to disble this ad
This is Jeremy from Sierra Madre CA. At 22 he is one of the most versatile, head in the game, and kick-da-cahcah trap drummers that I've worked with in 45 years of performing. At 130 pounds, he is a monster.

Who else loves their drummer....

My drummer is a pretentious prick, but he's also probably my best friend. He also has mad skills, so yeah, I love him. In a very special way!

I love my drummer's wife. He's OK, I guess. The moustache will have to go.

I love the drummer in the current band in which I play. He's very tempo aware. Plus, while not fancy, his fills are very tasty and always well placed. It fits the music we play well.

It gives me the confidence to be more creative because I know he'll always be where he should.

My drummer is better than Neil Peart - no lie! He's made me a better bass player, and, he's my brother so sometimes I can't stand him

The drummer in the trio I play w/ is f'n killer. and is the most level headed musician I've ever known. gets back to you quickly, is generally a 1/2 hour early to gigs/rehearsals. never heard him miss a 16th note and a nice guy too!!

my drummer is awesome. the problem is that he's probably one of the nicest, most gentle people i've ever met. i.... get a little afraid to talk to him sometimes. that type of innocence is a horrible thing to crush. unless it's in the bedroom with a very hot grrL.

My drummer is amazing! Granted, this is my first band as a bass player and I learned to play bass to match his drumming style, So we always know where either one of us is heading at any point. Its great to be able to look at a drummer and nod and you both hit a complete rythym change at the exact time while your jamming and the guitarist be like "What"?

our new drummer is antithesis of the typical drummer stereotype dished here.... probably the best musician in our band, a very hard worker plays in 2-3 bands, hard guy not too like actually, he plays guitar, bass, piano and owns top quality gear for everything he has a Mesa head he lets the lead guitard in his other band use that is worth more than everything in the bandroom combined! including a real nice PA just for triggering his kickdrum

the other day he was telling me how in a certain passage he switched from 3/4 time to 6/8 and I was like Whoa! how dumb am I?! I didn't even know there was difference lol

I love my drummer cuz he's a real cool guy, im relatively new to the band but the guy txts me every day and makes me feel more welcome. When we play, he has a tendancy to rush a little which can be bad but it keeps the chemistry good cuz we keep each other in check, who knows maybe I lag and dont know it, which would make us perfect for each other, lol.

Ours rocks; great feel, good intuition, chops for days, good attitude, sweat drips off him in perfect time, and lastly, he makes fun of the guitarist all the time...

I work with an awesome drummer. His drumming is impeccable but
maybe a little fast. He's a great singer, too. This picture isn't him
but close enough.

dude I got mad love for my drummer! I've played with him since High School and he kicks butt, it's soooo easy to lock in and keep a tight rhythm section when we're showing up the guitards.

+1

I love my drummer, but when a hotter drummer walks into the room, I won't hide the fact that I'm staring- gotta let them know whose boss!
