I wasn't feeling up for it that night, so I turned it down. Kinda regret that since one of my bands used to do their tune Time Has Come Today.
Oh yeah, and I once played a tune (of ours) at one of our gigs with Billie Joe Armstrong's brother (a drummer).
And as far as famous bands that my band played gigs with:
Fates Warning
The Donnas
Agent Orange
Gary Hoey
and I also was in a band who opened for Death
and even more off topic, I used to work with Darby Gould, one of the singers of Jefferson Starship. She has an amazing voice.

I was also asked to tour with the band Islands, but the deal fell through unfortunately....I played a random gig in Philly once with the guitarist from Robert Randolph's band, and I did a recording with Paul Schaffer from Leno.... |

Turns out he is a really really nice guy despite being world famous. I had a short conversation with him in the toilets in the backstage area, he walked in and asked me if I was the bassist from that band, and then he told me he liked the song that went 'do de do' (he actually hummed one of our songs to me!). I think that was one of the best gigs I've played. |

I always wondered if Billy Sheehan had listened to him cause their styles seemed really similar. |

Probably one of the most random things ever, a friend of mine knew a lawyer who was in charge of finding her a backing band for a marine wildlife benefit. He got me on the gig, we had no rehersal time with her and didn't talk to her till we were on stage. It went fine, but it was kind of odd to see her pregnant as anything with a bouy tied to her jeans!!! Also got a nice view of her behind hangin out while she rolled around on the floor during a song, peculiar experience i must say!

There was no rehearsal, I walked up once side of the stage and he the other, when the show was over he went his way and I mine, we never really met.
