Hey,

just thought i'd share this with you all...
My band were playing a gig a couple of weeks ago, it was our biggest gig to date as we were last band on in the ballroom at a jazz festival.

Anyway after the gig i was outside having a smoke with the guitarist when this chick came over and was "aren't you the guitarist in the band that was on upstairs?" he said yes and they started having a chat.

Then another bandmate came over and the girl was " hey, aren't you the clarinet player from that band?" he answered yes. she looks at the two of them and then at me and goes "who's this guy?"

ah, the joys of being the bassist

Harsh times man...harsh times.

What you need to do is get her to sit on your bass amp for a while. That'd sure make her remember you

To be honest, most of the women I've met think that bass is the best thing since sliced bread. They pay more attention to the bassist than anyone else.

Must be lucky haha.

Girls love plucking my strings while I play. Especially the wrong ones,

then call it a guitar. :/

You are that guy that plays the guitar that only has four strings (maybe 5). How come you don't play as many strings as the other guy? Is is becuase it's too hard for you?
