Why Bass is the best instrument

Sign in to disble this ad
You know why bass is the best? Cause there can only be one

Sure there are a handful of bands with 2 bass players, but that's like having a two headed tooth brush. Sure its nice to have an extra, but one gets the job done!

Why Bass is the best instrument

Guitars play pretty chords and melodies. Keyboards are good for fills and background. Drums are cool the way they beat out rhythms and beats.

We keep our basses locked away in basements so that women and children will be safe. We usually only play single notes because our notes are so profound that playing chords can knock the planets out of alignment. Bass is the only instrument that growls, grinds, and clanks. With extended range basses we can get sub-sonic.

A good bass line is what makes people dance.

Could you imagine what would have happened if Marty McFly would have played a power chord on Doc Brown's amp on a bass? Goodbye town!

DUDE!!!!!!! I love to make a bass explosion!! Drop D is great for that. You can ring D out on four strings. ITS SO MASSIVE!!! I totally slam my bass with my palm. Or rake them with my fingers. Try that with a puny guitar.

my basses can do all that too.

Why Bass is the best instrument: Because of the people that are drawn to use it as their tool of musical expression!

Another reason Bass is the best. You can play percussive, melody, harmony or all 3 at once.

Hey man you better watch your back, this here is bass country. If it weren't for us bass players keeping your darn tempos in check, you guys would be all over the place.

aha! you must be a fan of drummers too!

Bass is good for some stuff though. You need someone to stand to the left of the drummer.
