I absolutley love my CA-30, though it is not as easy as having a pedal tuner on your board all the time.
Back when I was in music school the Korg CA-30 was pretty much the gold standard of the cheap pocket tuners.

Since I use good cables, none has gone lost or broken! |

Try it.
Tune your bass perfectly....lean it out at 45 degrees and see if it's the same. | Yes, the weight of the strings will throw it marginally off tuning.....for those of us who don't play upside down, it is no problem.

My main one is a Korg with a analog meter that is over 20 years old. That one's at my practice place; however, I just bought a Korg GA-30 for $12 online that is pretty sweet. I looked at the TC Electronic RH450 bass sytem site - nice having a tuner in the amp, but I still am going to have to step over and mute the amp if I want to tune silently? Uh, I'll keep on with the $20 tuners with Jimmie. LOL

| | | | I also use a a $20 Korg tuner.....with my Fender Bass and Peavey 215 stack, it seems outta place. But, a tuner just tunes notes. As long as it works, I'm ok with it.
