Will I play better with an SX bass?

Hi I jsut stured 14 and I'm new to bass and want to buy an ESSEX BASS or a Fodera...what do you think? I'm learning how to play Portrait of Tracy on my Recorder and I'm transcribing it to bass for future reference. Ok some questions aobut SX basses...

1. If I ask my dad to pay for it is it my bass or his?

2. If I bounce on my bed and play in 4/4 time could that damage my retainer?

3. SX bass guitars are rad but if Grammy dies I can buy a Fedora...will Grammy hate me from heaven if I buy one?

4. Can I tune my SX bass to an ultra low freqeunsy to play in my firends Death barbeque band? they ahve a song called I ate a shoe and you need to smell my breath

5. I have $34.58 cents can someone lend me some money to pay for the rest of my SX bass?

6. Should I paint a skull on my SX bass? or maybe a Panda?

7. Can I put a different pick-up in my SX to make ti sound like a better bass?

8. If I close my eyes and think about another bass while I'm playing an SX bass is that like cheating on my girl friend?

9. Grammy died and left me $44.67 for my Fedora

This should have been posted in the basses forum. Definitely upgrade the pickguard to pearloid. It improves the overall harmonic sustain and clarity and is much cheaper than buying a Monster cable.

Buy the SX and buy a Monster cable. That will be as good or better than the Fodera.

yes. SX basses are magical. they can not only make you a better player, they can also resurrect the dead and summon unicorns! all the stinky Fodera can do is be expensive.

yeah, but i heard that urinating liquid gold will only lead to a bladder infection. and that's not cool.
