He was asked which song he wishes he could have created and performed. His answer, if I remember correctly, was "Black Dog" by Led Zeppelin. I thought about it and can see how he and his band would have probably performed that song very well.
If given the same choice, which song do you wish you could have created / performed with your band? For the sake of fun, assume you had the chops to do so but otherwise you would need to work around the abilities of your band mates. |

I think that would look good as hell on a resume.

Well, I wrote this little ditty a few years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRU1AJsXN1g

I *think* I have the bassline nailed by now... I take every excuse to play the song.

As such, some of the songs that hit me in the chest aren't necessarily the most technical, difficult, or complex songs you will ever hear.
But on a personal level, if my band could have written and performed Ringo Starr's "Photograph", I would consider it a feather in my cap. To this day, whenever I hear that song I have a hard time singing along with it and not welling up.
If I were to go to my happier, fun side, I'd love to say that I wrote and performed Luke Bryan's "Take My Drunk A$$ Home". Cause that song is just flat out funny.
