I know people who could hit 4.0 and still can barely conceive of the mechanics of walking a straight line.

People with good memory or the ability to remember things through repetitive teaching can feign being intelligent easily...but only in that box. Out of the box and they fall apart. I knew people who could read a question on a test verbatim and know the answer but if you presented it a different way they would be stumped.

But you know what... Say what you will but signed is signed. Whoever she hires as her band will be making a considerable amount, will probably appear on TV like SNL & the late night shows, likely end up with some sort of endorsement offer, etc.

No, they definitely teach you where France is. And they tell you its acountry, too.
This is an act. Some people enjoy cute dumb girls, and some smarter girls have to pretend to be dumb to fit in.

That video is from '07. She's already pretty big time in Nashville.

When I wrote about people from SC being myopic the other day, this is what I meant. SC or NC folks live in their own small bubble of a world. They have zero need to know what the capitol of Hungary is, therefore they don't. This is a perfect example. Before she got famous she probably never left NC.

Maybe it is like this everywhere.

Guess I can't really blame her so much after reading her family bio on Wikipedia. Cripes.

Someone told me a long time ago in the Music Industry it's not what you know, it's who you know.

me, too. I could stand behind that night after night.

I think she also supports a bunch of great causes. I believe she shaved her head to support a friend with cancer. Sang overseas for troops, etc. Maybe she's dumb, maybe she's acting. We've spent 4 pages and almost 100 posts about her.

Absolutely!! I'd stand behind her, Shania, Shakira, etc. It would be a great gig with a view.

They are actually wrestling with what style of BBQ is best, a truly worthwhile endeavor, and with a difficulty of proving similar to Fermat's last theorem.

If you see that your post has been deleted or edited, it is because of the NO POLITICS rule here at TB.

Last reminder here.
