A word of advice for everyone.

Just a quick note of caution...

Do not, I repeat, do not use your teeth to strip a wire 2 days before a 3 month road trip.

Unless of course you really enjoy having a chipped tooth right in front and can make that look work for you.

That is all for today we now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

Thank you for the advice. I stopped using my teeth as a tool after my dentist told me to stop cutting fishing line with them. Sorry about the chipped tooth but have fun.....maybe get vampire fangs or something?

Fangs rule.

LOL... I still strip the occasional wire with my front teeth (though my Kline does a better job...)

Before leaving for 3 months, be sure to put a wire cutter/stripper in your tool kit.

Gives you a place to wedge in a toothpick.

I quit doing that when I learned that a lot of wire is coated with lead to keep the plastic jacket from sticking to it...

Best part? No one notices stuff like that when you're the ugly guy in a female fronted band. I could be onstage with my hair on fire and no one would notice.

Where have you been, son? Anyone could tell you that's a really bad idea.

Have your drummer do it instead.

Just have your dentist groove your front two teeth for the gauge wire you use most.

I did that once to a power chord while the other end was still plugged in.

My mouth was numb for a while, maybe fried some brain cells, but at least I chip my tooth.
