uhm.. I think NewSkin and Superglue are related...

Superglue is a cheap version of Cyanoacrylate ester...

New Skin and Liquid Band-aid are similar compounds...

All kick ass for the same reasons

I get those all the time...I have them on 3 of my fingers. So yeah, they sting for a few days, but than you can play again.


Edit - Btw, for the one who asked if there was someone dumb enough to superglue them selves. Hi how are you doing. lol I super glued my fingers together a few years ago. It was more a cure for being bored than playing bass. But I was younger, and dumber.

I used to get blisters a lot, when my band was practicing 3 or 4 nights a week, and they'd often burst and be all gross like those pics. So, to keep playing on hamburger fingers, I had to turn my amp way up and play very softly. Coincidentally, this helped with my blistering problem... I haven't had one since.
