I do, only on my right wrist though. It helps prevent rug burns, soaks up sweat, and makes me look like some kind of wicked cool athlete . So, who else uses them?

You have a rug attached to your bass?

When I play without them though a wristband is nice. I use a pick too and with the way I play, it really does a number on a certain part of my wrist.

Never wear them all the time though! |

I hate it when my arm gets sweaty and then slimes the bass. Used to wear one on my left (fretting) wrist but I don't like anything tight or constricting in any way there...no watches or sweat bands. |
