So when is Fender going to put out the Jimmy Page signature Les Paul?

I gotta tell you, I was a diehard Gibson fan back in the 70's and 80's -but Oh Gibson, how far you have fallen!

eww.. Couldn't they have just stuck with the V or SG.
I'm thinking maybe that *other* co. didn't want to play ball with Experience Hendrix, LLC, who really wanted a sig strat style. The late '90's fenders were pretty cool..

hmm.. Jimmy Page sig tele would be nice, though.

This was authorized by Jimi's sister from what I've heard floating around the pool. I still waiting on Fender's Les Paul copy. Ha!

Lame, lame, lame. Cynical money-gouging exercise. Gibson have zero credibility, in my opinion.

But they'll probably sell a million of 'em anyway; that's the really sad part...

I seem to recall Jimi played a V from time to time.

I mean, why not a signature V \

This Hendrix deal is really sad, but it's not the first time Gibson has stolen a design from Fender:

EDIT: I LOVE Brent Mason, btw. I just hate that he has his name attached to this plagiaristic deal.

Waiting for them to bring out the Cliff Burton Melodica...

Or the Jim Morrison Sousaphone...

They seem about as relevant.

The links didn't work for me.

But I was going to post about how he played a V sometimes. I've also seen some clips where he plays an SG.

Those aren't really the guitars he was famous for though.

But he's a famous guitarist! If it has his name on it... you know it's good stuff. Much better than that bland *insert fantastic instrument here* over there.

Link doesn't work for me, either.

What was the product that they're pushing?
