guilty, but for me I upstaged the other two bassplayers, one of the bands was on a tour. I would have been really stocked if I didnt have insane tonselitus.

At the end of the night, some random guy came up to me and the headlining bands bass player and said to him "hey, you want to learn somthing? Talk to this guy (pointing to me)" and im 16

how 'bout when the venue managers call you politely to show up on their stage and you direct them to your manager and have him talk the money business INSTEAD OF going to the managers and asking them if they would like to give you a shot

... when people give you basses, amps, strings. Better still when they give you one that has your name on it!

your very first gig you get more female attention than male by a ratio of 15:1 when your roughly 45 strong dancing/rocking-out audience comprises of 3 males, and 45 wimmin (and that doesn't include the rest of the bar sat watching.)(it also doesn't beat the cheeky smiles i kept getting from a select few females ;D)

anyone else want to add?
You overhear someone talking about your band in a deli in New York City when you live 1100 miles away and are not on tour.

A New Zealand newspaper calls you about doing an interview.

Howard Stern makes fun of you on his show.

(All are true; all rendered me speechless!)

when youre choking down gas station burritos and sleeping in a bunk in a bus 500 miles from home, and your fans are going home to a nice warm bed.
