I once had it all

My perfect bass guitar, several nice back up bass guitars, the right strings, a gig rig on the first floor, a practice rig in the basement, and tone I was completely happy with. I was done spending large amounts of money on music gear. I had finally gotten to the point where I was happy with all my gear, and my playing was carrying me just fine.


....and then I bought a double bass.

I once had a Meinel double bass and a GK amp, that's all. I enjoyed playing, had lots of gigs and all was right with the world.
