Thumbs down Apology....

My dear Fassa. This nonesense is what we refer to as going: OT. (off topic)
This almost NEVER happens here.
I WAS trying to stay On Topic by giving you some inspiration and a warm, personal welcome to TBDB..........
All that work...gone. Thanks to a selfish few individuals who can't seem to control their special interests.
I am SO sorry.

Paul, I've thought about mentioning this since I first saw your name on TalkBass a few years ago. I was exposed to your playing at an early phase in my development as a bassist. It was late '85, NTSU (now UNT) and my freshman roommate was a former student of Colin Bailey. He had tape of Secret Garden that he treasured, and played it frequently. Being the token "legit" player among many "jazzer" buds, I hadn't been exposed to much jazz at the time, so hearing the Hindman trio had as much impact on my awareness as Miles, Trane, etc. Anyway, your sound on that album is still stuck in my head after all these years, and your name will be forever be included in my list of great and important bassists whenever I'm asked to drop a few names.

Thumbs up Man..

Chris.
What can I say? Really. Compliments of this extreme are rare in most people's lives. Believe me, when I say that I will treasure it.
It makes it all worthwile to somebody like me.
Thank you, man.

Paul,

You're bass will go to a "special, talented" bassist?

Even though he doesn't hang around on this board any more?
