Bring your bank up to NYC and see how far it goes.

I admit when I did those videos my hand technique was sub par, but then again I just started my lessons with Nat Reeves so what can I say, besides Expert Village gave me some serious bank in twelve keys players.

MANY BLESSINGS!!!
Ryan David Bird Larson
Perhaps we're having our proverbial leg pulled by a Larson imposter. Although, who would want to do that-- I just don't know. Just started your lessons with Nat Reeves when you did the videos? Hmmm... as one of Nat's former students, I'd really like to hear what he has to say about this.

Thank you, especially for attempting to help with his Birdophelia/Parkersons.

I'm impressed that he seems to be able to play endlessly with awful technique. I would be worn out with that posture in about ten minutes.

Oh this is all too good! I love the comment in Spanish, in which the only word I recognized is "hospital".

And while playing an example says something along the lines of "now you're grooving", and then proceeds to trip all over the beat.

Read the description in the video. "Ryan Larson is a young jazz composer whose teaching technique focuses on the basics of music theory in all twelve keys." Did you hear that? All 12!!

:0 ALL TWELVE!! I only know four!! D:
I feel really bad for this guy. I sympathize as much as I laugh. Read his poetry in his website! It's not Emily Dickinson, but it's not the flat out WORST I've ever heard. Still bad enough to make you laugh.

Can anyone translate this into English?
Well, this is pretty much proof the guy's an imposter. "Some serious bank" means he was paid well for the vidoes. Which is absolute crap--those "learning" sites like Expert Village and eHow and such pay a pittance. We're talking double digits here.

And, of course, there's no fact-checking or quality control. Which is why stuff like this gets through.

On Expertvillage, he teaches bass, piano, jazz theory, drums and even coongas. Yes, coongas. He is certainly not an expert in any of those things, and if Expertvillage was an actual village, I wonder what kind of people live there XD.
BTW, Summertime is worth a laugh http://www.ryan-larson.com/audio/Summertime1.mp3

But then again, what do I know? My jazz prof told me, It takes a long time just to become 'mediocre'.

Well, I cried a river for this guy... laughing. Seriously, I never stopped to wonder if he's just challenged or just a hell of a troll. After seeing his homepage picture, I settled for the latter

I couldnt resist. I had to give this a listen..incredibly, he sings "cha-cha-cha" in this song. O dear.

Edit: To be fair, I sorta liked his bassline on Satin Doll.
