Old Gentleman with Bass Fiddle

Here's a twist on the "Is that a cello?" routine. Last week, my wife was dragging me around the antique shops in St. Augustine (actually, I tend to power walk if you know what I mean) when I noticed a dust collecter entitled "Old Gentleman with Bass Fiddle". As you probably guessed, he was playing a cello! Mislabeled - No wonder it hasn't sold. . . No, I didn't buy it.

Similar situation in an antique shop. A large portrait of Thomas Jefferson was labeled 'Man in Fur Coat'. You'd think an antique dealer would know that..........
