Runnin' With the Devil

This isn't double bass related, but it's still quite funny. Anyone that has heard the song will recognize the sound bytes. Pretty funny if you have some speakers on your computer and a few minutes to kill.

Well, funny to me, at least.

Actually, I know he's taken a lot of **** for having had the vocal track split up from the band, but to me, that just sounds like a rock vocalist going to town. In context, all that mess sounds right at home.

It's just very funny to hear it out of context. I never really thought of it before someone showed me the website.

As much as the guy's a major league goofball and pretty mediocre singer, he was the perfect metal frontman, and I have to admit that multiphonics thing is pretty impressive. I wonder how bloody the old vocal cords got during a long tour of whoopin' and hollerin' like that?

Indeed. It can't be good for your body to sing like that for as long as he did. The drugs helped, I reckon.

YEahhhhhhhh!!!

OK,

Getting ready to call it a night, check out TBDB and see this!

So funny my drink came out my nose!

True story; A friend of mine either directed or produced the "Hot for Teacher" video for the Vans .... my friend called me down to the shoot just to check out what a scene it was. Without going into lots of detail, it was pretty wild. The video was shot at an actual school. I recall that DLR had a big brand new Mercedes with a skull & cross bones painted on the hood. He seemed very funny in a goofball, insane sort of way. He might have been the P.T. Barnum of the 80's.
